Keeping Your Business Clean

About Me

Keeping Your Business Clean

Do you remember the last time you walked into your business and really felt happy about the way it looked and felt? I didn't used to worry too much about sanitation, but when we started having a lot of sick employees, I began taking things more seriously. I was really amazed with the different things that were causing illness, so we began cleaning the entire space out with the help of a sanitation company. We threw out equipment we no longer needed and worked hard to sanitize the entire space. I wanted to make a special blog for anyone who has ever wondered about sanitation. Check it out!

4 Steps To Make Your Parking Lot Look Great This Spring

As you clean up your business this spring, make sure that you spend some time cleaning up the outside of your business as well. Here are a few ways you can clean up your parking lot this spring.

Get Rid of Weeds

The first thing that you should do is get rid of any weeds growing in or around your parking lot. Pull out the weeds and then treat the areas where you removed the weeds with weed killer.

For the area around your parking lot, put down plastic and bark. That will make the edges of your parking lot or the flower beds look nicer, and will help prevent the presence of weds around your parking lots. Weeds can really lower the look and appeal of your parking lot, so take care of them first.

Clean Your Storm Drains

The next thing you need to do is clean your storm drains. You want to make sure that water is able to properly drain from your parking lot. In order for water to properly drain, you need to have clean storm drains. You can remove waste from your storm drains, or you can hire a company to come in and clean your storm drains.

When you hire a company to come in and clean your storm drains, they usually suck out the waste not just on the surface, but down into the pipes and systems as well. You should have your storm drains cleaned out at least once a year.

Clean Off Your Parking Lot

Next, you need to clean the cement in your parking lot. Start by using a leaf blower. This will help you gather all the leaves, debris and garbage from your parking lot in one space. This will allow you to get rid of all the waste in your parking lot.

After that, you are going to want to use a pressure washer on your parking lot. A pressure washer will help clean up all the smaller dirt particles from your parking lot. A pressure washer can also help remove oil and gas stains from your parking lot as well. You could even hire a company such as Respectable  Receptacle LLC for professional help with power washing as well.

Repaint the Lines

After that, you are going to want to see about getting the lines in your parking lot repainted. Painting the lines in your parking lot will finalize all of the cleaning that you did and really pull your parking lot together. When your parking lot is clean with brightly painted lines, it will look newer and more inviting, and will help draw customers into your business.
